Personal Care
Personal care is a non-medical service that is specifically intended to provide hands on support and/or supervision with activities of daily living. The level of Personal Care Services can vary widely depending on an individual’s needs, but the goal of this service is to play a vital role in maintaining a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle for individuals in need.
Personal care tasks may include, but are not limited to: Hands on or standby assistance with bathing, dressing, personal grooming, oral care, mobility, lifts/transfers, repositioning, toileting/incontinence care, nutrition/dietary care, range of motion activities, and dementia care.
